...most of the followers of Herbert W. Armstrong will be observing God's Holy Days on the wrong day in 2026 beginning with Trumpets.
On Page 37:
"Rosh Hashana (Feast of Trumpets) is not permitted to fall on a Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday. The postponement rules were arranged so that the Holy Days would not interfere with the observance of the Sabbath and the observance of the Sabbath would not interfere with the Holy Days. If the Feast of Trumpets were to fall on a Wednesday, the Day of Atonement would fall on a Friday, thus making it impossible to properly prepare for the Sabbath. If the Feast of Trumpets were to fall on a Friday, the Day of Atonement would fall on a Sunday, which would allow no time during the weekly Sabbath to prepare for the Day of Atonement. If the Feast of Trumpets fell on a Sunday, the same problem regarding the beating of the willows on the weekly Sabbath would occur, as the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles would fall on the weekly Sabbath."
Nowhere in the bible does the Jewish Rule #2 proclaim this, but in Deuteronomy 12:32 God states quite the opposite:
32) What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
