Why a Monday Pentecost
The World Wide Church of God changed Pentecost from a Monday to a Sunday in 1974
Major changes within the World Wide Church of God including Divorce and Remarriage
An explicit command not to add nor diminish from God's laws
Deuteronomy 12:32
32) What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
Romans 7:1-3
1) Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
2) For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3) So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
There are a couple of other places in the Bible that show that Pentecost is neither a Sun-day or a Sivan 6 or 7: John 20:19-31, where Christ had all of Wave Sheaf Day to Himself, and at the latest part of the First Day of the Week, Christ appeared to His disciples in the upper room, breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit, putting them into the Body of Christ, and sending them into the General Harvest of wheat exactly 49 days later, ON Pentecost in Acts 2:1, where 3,000 souls were baptized on Pentecost.
